At SMV, we LOVE our customers because they are chock full of great ideas and information. Below is a wonderful recipe for cooking winter squash in a crockpot, posted to Facebook from our customer P. Allen Anders.
“Sign of fall: acorn squash from South Mountain Veggies. If you got it in you bag & don’t know what to do with it: cut it in half, clean out seeds, drop butter & brown sugar in the middle, then cook in crockpot on low for 6 hours or high for 3. Yummy!”
Quick, easy, full of health and taste! That’s just how we like it. For more great ideas from our community of customers, check us out on Facebook and Twitter. We can’t wait to hear YOUR ideas for fresh, local, sustainable cooking. 🙂
